The accountable officer and the permanent secretary have taken the committee's concerns into account, and I am pleased that some of them have been acknowledged.
We were concerned that the bill did not outline how the Scottish Government would be held accountable if it did not meet the targets outlined, and how issues that affect island and remote rural areas would be addressed.
They have been given clearer direction regarding their role of looking at local policing plans, holding local commanders to account and considering how the plans are delivered.
I presume that it would take into account a Brexit impact. It would probably be difficult to measure purely a Brexit impact; it is all-pervasive, so it is difficult to pick up.
