The 2022/23 and 2023/24 audits of the Water Industry Commission for Scotland: The Committee considered correspondence from the Scottish Government and the Water Industry Commission for Scotland.
This is because of the Scottish Government’s preferred approach to pass the Bill now in order that two provisions contained within it – namely proxy purchasing and prohibiting the possession of certain pyrotechnic articles – can be in place before Bonfire Night in November 2022. This requires the Parliament to complete all scrutiny on the Bill and pass it by the end of June 2022.
