On the purposes of the administration of justice, there is obviously the element of holding people to account for what they have doneāthe punishment element.
That must be about plans that will genuinely provide more efficiency, reinvest savings in the front line and protect local accountability. If the plans involve cuts to front-line services or reducing local accountability, we will of course hold the Government to account.
That is important to us, because we need to grow the market sufficiently not only to take an increase in culling in Scotland but to take account of the much-increased supply that will come from England and Wales.
