My hunch is that there is no overwhelming technical issue but that it is a matter for commercial decision making, taking into account the cost of rolling out the digital system to those remaining relays.

I note Mr Pringle’s concerns about the proposal for a single police force and the issue of local accountability and meeting the needs of local communities.
Our auditors are happy with our annual accounts, the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator is happy with our situation and representatives of the Scottish Government have looked at our accounts to be comfortable that everything is in order, which it is.
There is an inverse proportionality in relation to how much we talk about a form of end-use energy and how much of the total end-use energy that accounts for. Electricity accounts for about 20 per cent, transport accounts for about 30 per cent and heat accounts for abut 50 per cent.

To ask the Scottish Executive whether the capital expenditure line in the draft budget for 2011-12 takes account of the repayment of the £50 million in capital expenditure brought forward to 2010-11.

The Scottish Library and Information Council have brought together the Scottish figures by local authority area from the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accounting (CIPFA). CIPFA figures are only available from 2000 onwards.
