Subsequent to stage 2, several bodies wrote to the Scottish Government and MSPs to express their opposition to Margaret Mitchell’s stage 2 amendments and offer their support for the reversal of those amendments at stage 3.
However, as a West Scotland regional MSP, I must put on the record that, although they are in the same health board area, Clydebank and Greenock are not in Glasgow.
I want to move on to an issue that is close to the hearts of all Edinburgh MSPs: the Edinburgh trams. They are now up and running in the city, which we all welcome.
The number 1 problem that people come to speak to me about is still the banks, but pretty close behind that is planning—I suspect that MSPs hear about it a lot as well—and the number 1 problem with planning is delay.
