The judiciary have to take responsibility for the judgments that they have passed in these cases, and they cannot just pretend that they are somewhere up there and are not accountable to the people. They are accountable to the people.

The Scottish Ministerial Code makes clear that ministers have a duty to hold the Parliament to account, and be held to account, for the policies, decisions and actions taken within their field of responsibility.
