The Scottish Government regularly engages with Youth Scotland and YouthLink Scotland in connection with the grant funding provided to each organisation from the Community Learning and Development budget.
In 2018-19, that amounts to additional funding of £31.7 million. In addition, we have increased rural and remoteness funding by £1 million, to a total of £8 million this year.
It was a bit like learning away, in the sense that it was a huge project that funded thousands of pupils. Learning Away was funded by a charity; I cannot remember who funded the city challenge, but it went on for several years.
