The Electoral Commission response indicates that it is supportive of the clarity that a code of practice would provide to campaigners and agrees that it should be able to provide such a code for devolved elections in Scotland.
They would require the Chief Constable to prepare and maintain a Code of Ethics and would place an explicit duty of candour on both individual officers and the organisation as a whole.
It agrees with the findings in fact and conclusion of the Commissioner that Ms Hamilton did not breach the statutory or the Code of Conduct requirement to make an oral declaration of her interests in relation to the Parliamentary Question that she asked on 29 November 2018 at First Minister's Questions.

The Committee has considered the LCM on the Parking (Code of Practice) Bill and arrived at the following recommendations —

To ask the Scottish Government whether it will provide an update on how many P6 and P7 pupils in receipt of the Scottish Child Payment currently receive free school meals.
