To ask the Scottish Executive whether the National Housing Trust initiative will produce guidance on the level of specification for houses designated as being for mid-market rent in housing developments.
SEPA is in regular dialogue with the Met Office. It has produced a business case for a potential joint flood forecasting service which I am currently considering.
To ask the Scottish Executive when it will require each NHS board to have produced a primary care pathway for overweight and obese children and young people I refer the member to the answer to question S3W-34344 on 24 June 2010.
The Scottish Government however does lead by example by recording the quantity of Scottish sourced produce used in its catering contract, which, in many cases is 100% Scottish sourced.
I understand that the Scottish Salmon Producers Organisation has decided that at this time they no longer wish to pursue an amendment to the Scottish Farmed Salmon PGI specification.

We have received an application to amend the Scottish Farmed Salmon PGI from the Scottish Salmon Producers Organisation. Once this application is finalised the Scottish Government will issue it for public consultation.

To ask the Scottish Executive whether it has undertaken research to determine what losses may be experienced by the food and drink industries if a GM contamination event affects Scottish produce. This question was answered in the Chamber.
To ask the Scottish Executive whether breeders of peregrine falcons will be required to register any young produced in 2009. The legislation under the Wildlife and Countryside Act will continue to apply to all species currently listed under Schedule 4 of that act until an amending Order is brought forward for consideration by Parliament.

The chair responsible for providing recommendations on the workstream Walking the Talk is producing a report and recommendations which I will consider in taking forward any changes with regards to public procurement.
