I represented her as a councillor and an MSP for the best part of 17 years. She worked tirelessly with the dial-a-journey service for many years to help people to access such services and her death is a real loss to the sector.

I think that Jean Urquhart got it right by voting against both amendments.It is important that the Parliament’s committees system works well. There is a danger that MSPs in the party of Government blindly support the Government, and Opposition MSPs blindly oppose the Government.
