While a lot of the discussion is about the lowest paid and about whether we should increase the minimum wage or have a living wage and so on, there is also a need to recognise that the impact of high pay seems quite marginal: if somebody is already doing all right, increasing their pay beyond that level is not of great benefit to their health and wellbeing.
