The UK Environment Bill - Clauses 16-18: Environmental principles

Executive devolution of a matter does not give the Scottish Parliament the competence to legislate in relation to that matter.. The Law Society of Scotland said in evidence to the Public Bill Committee on the Environment Bill on 12 March 2020 that as the Bill provides for environmental principles to apply in England only, it is not clear how reserved functions of UK Ministers in Scotland will be covered.
