The Law Society of Scotland said in evidence to the Public Bill Committee on the Environment Bill on 12 March 2020 that as the Bill provides for environmental principles to apply in England only, it is not clear how reserved functions of UK Ministers in Scotland will be covered.

We therefore seek confirmation of the extent to which this approach will be considered as part of the review of National Outcomes and the proposed Wellbeing and Sustainable Development Bill.
