To ask the Scottish Government how much funding has been delivered by the Scottish National Investment Bank this year to support economic recovery during the COVID-19 pandemic, and whether it will provide a breakdown of how this has been allocated.

The Scottish Government has not approved any applications to join the Scottish Letting Agent Register where the applicant has declared that they hold or handle client money but they do not have a dedicated client bank account. The Scottish Government does not intend to approve such applications until this important requirement has been met.
The issue comes back to what we can do to maximise the opportunities for external partners. The Scottish National Investment Bank is looking at models for that, as is the hubco programme.
