I am not for one minute suggesting that there should not be a high degree of focus on the cities, but I feel that the local authority areas around Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen have not had enough focus. As a regional MSP for the West of Scotland, I am thinking in particular about Inverclyde.

It came from the process of the 2003 Government white paper on aviation, which asked us to put in place a master plan by 2006. The Scottish Government told MSPs that the cost of reproviding the aviation fuel farm at quarter four of 2004 prices was estimated to be £3 million and that BAA had input to the calculation of that figure.
