What about the convener of a finance committee on a council compared with a back-bench MSP, for example? I fully accept that that is a very different position, convener.
I absolutely agree with Jim Fletcher: like many other MSPs, if I want to know what is going on in a community, I first call the councillor to find that out.Would the panel care to comment on the following?
I pay tribute to her tenacity in pursuing justice for the families and others who have suffered greatly from this terrible tragedy. She has shown us all what an MSP for an area can do when a tragedy such as this one happens.
