We have also received additional information from the RSPB, which has been circulated this morning.I had hoped that we would be joined by Marilyn Livingstone, who is the local MSP, but she contacted me to say that she would be tied up with this morning's meeting of the Education Committee, although she hoped to join us for this discussion.

We would lose much expertise. A cross-party delegation of MSPs visited the centre just a few weeks ago and was highly impressed by its invaluable work, which relies on its location—it is not just that the centre exists but that it exists where it exists.

I totally agree with the principle that every citizen should able to access the regulations if they want, but how many people ever come to an MSP's constituency office and complain that they have a problem accessing a regulation?

If people have serious health concerns, they should address them to the Health Committee. MSPs and committees of the Parliament should not drag things out and give people hope that they will conduct an inquiry when they will not.It was right that we wrote to the Executive, but the Executive has failed to answer some of our questions.
