Guidelines on the prescribing of antipsychotic medications will be informed by best clinical practice and by national Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network (SIGN) guidelines: SIGN 86 for the management of dementia and SIGN 98 for Autism Spectrum Disorder.
