Perhaps I am the only constituency MSP in Scotland—although I doubt it very much—to have been told about parents' difficulties with pupil support in the classroom, because teachers are prioritised over pupil support assistants, therefore pupil support is bearing the brunt of the education cuts.

I would hope that we would cover them anyway, but it is helpful to be informed by the direct experience of constituency MSPs. The mechanism by which the Government has promised to reduce class sizes is by maintaining teacher numbers, but the most recent census shows that teacher numbers have fallen by more than 1,000.
