Section six - Duty to seek advice from the relevant body
Section 6 proposes to impose upon Ministers a duty to seek advice from the relevant body at least every 5 years.iClimate Change (Emissions Reductions Targets) (Scotland) Bill, section 6 (2C)(1) Ministers are required to ask:
Whether a net-zero emissions target is achievable and when;iiClimate Change (Emissions Reductions Targets) (Scotland) Bill, section 6 (2C)(3)(a)
Whether the existing 2050 and interim targets are still appropriate (with reference to the target setting criteria);iiiClimate Change (Emissions Reductions Targets) (Scotland) Bill, section 6 (2C)(3)(b)
