Shortly afterwards the Scottish Parliament considered the Coronavirus (Scotland) Bill. This was deemed an Emergency Bill, and all stages of the Bill wee considered on 1 April 2020.

Further, the Social Security (Scotland) Bill was amended on 1 February to place a duty on Scottish Ministers to have regard to the importance of ensuring that people receive information in a way that best meet each individual's needs.

Passage of the Bill
The Rural Economy and Connectivity Committee scrutinised the Bill at Stage 1.
