Recently, the Minister for Equalities, Migration and Refugees wrote to the UK Government to seek funding for local authorities in order to manage the unprecedented pressures created by fast-tracked asylum decisions.
In addition, the Committee highlighted that the Scottish Government had made suggestions around its substantive funding decisions within the financial memorandum, and raised some points made by stakeholders in relation to those suggestions.
I wanted to emphasise the need to ensure that funding goes to support services that are non-judgmental and do not require sex workers to commit to exiting the industry.

I expected that, after the change fund moneys ran out, people would look at mainstreaming any new successful way of working that had been developed, but that did not seem to happen.
