Given that the petition related to a planning matter, the Committee agreed to note the petition and close it, on the basis that the Committee's Stage 1 report on the Planning (Scotland) Bill had already been agreed and that any MSP could bring forward an amendment to try to meet the petition's aim at Stage 2, should they wish to do so
