To ask the Scottish Executive whether it plans to increase the cost of applications for criminal record checks carried out by Disclosure Scotland under Part V of the Police Act 1997. We intend to lay a Scottish Statutory Instrument in May to increase the cost of all types of Disclosure Scotland applications to £23 with effect from 1 August 2009.
