It is very much about highlighting the messages of the Scottish and UK Governments around the importance of tackling climate change, and Scotland’s ambitious targets for reaching net zero much earlier than others.
The Scottish Greens are clear, as are many stakeholders, that significant changes are needed in agriculture and land use in order to address the climate and nature crises.
Throughout the negotiations, the Scottish Government advocated for strong provisions on the environment, including on Environmental Goods and Services, climate adaptation and mitigation.
