Supported by: Annie Wells* Other new and altered motions and amendments *S5M-10641 Sandra White: Marie Curie Garden of Light That the Parliament congratulates — Marie Curie on its Garden of Light, which will be on display in Buchanan Street in Glasgow from 1 to 3 March 2018; understands that the installation of 700 artificial daffodils represents the number of people that Marie Curie will be caring for in Scotland that month; acknowledges that it will also feature a memory wall for people to write messages to loved ones; notes that dedicated volunteer collectors will be based around the garden and the city centre over the three days for people to support the charity's annual Great Daffodil Appeal, which takes place every March; understands that it will illuminate at night to demonstrate the light that Marie Curie nurses bring to people across Scotland, even in the darkest hours, and acknowledges that it will be open for the public to enjoy for free.
