For all other applications, the time within which representations may be made is by a date which is not less than 28 days from the last date on which a relevant notice is published.
Many people who are currently in charge of banks or bank regulation will be dead by then, so I think that a lot of what has been said will be forgotten.
Although others have disagreements with the DWP, it is worth putting on record that, if it were not for the DWP continuing to deliver people’s benefits monthly into their bank accounts, those people would miss out.

According to NFU Mutual, the cost of rural crime in Scotland increased by 34.9 per cent in 2022-23 and cost the Scottish economy £1.2 million last year.
Given that such lifeline ferries are critical infrastructure, will the Scottish Government consider a direct award under section 45 of the Subsidy Control Act 2022? I am sure that the United Kingdom Government would be willing to work with the Scottish Government on that, given that it has already made representations in relation to procurement law.
