To ask the Scottish Executive whether it can confirm that NHS staff are within their rights, having exhausted internal procedures, to go to their MSPs and councillors with concerns regarding (a) their treatment as employees and (b) services.

There are also bi-monthly meetings between COSLA and Fiona Hyslop MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Education and Lifelong Learning and John Swinney MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Finance and Sustainable Growth.
The committee’s stage 1 report recommended that MSPs wait until the working group has reported before Parliament considers legislating to add sex as a hate-crime characteristic.
We are joined by the Minister for Rural Affairs and the Natural Environment, Mairi Gougeon, and her officials, whom I welcome. We are also joined by Colin Smyth MSP and Maurice Golden MSP. I welcome you both, too.
On my travels, not least as a Highland MSP, I often hear that connectivity, especially in rural areas, is a barrier to small businesses getting online.
I am representing the people of Grampian, who feel that they are not represented by many of their north-east MSPs, whose voices could be raised as I am raising mine now.
