To ask the Scottish Government, further to the answer to question S4W-05615 by Nicola Sturgeon on 9 March 2012, whether the post of chief executive of Healthcare Improvement Scotland is still filled on an interim basis through the secondment of the former medical director of NHS Fife.
As noted in the answer to question S4W-05829 on 2 March 2012, a set of operating principles for the fund, designed to maximise its leverage and impact, will discussed at the Scottish Cities Alliance Leadership Group meeting in March.

To ask the Scottish Executive whether a reduction in the size of its estate will be sufficient to meet its energy consumption target of 12.6% by March 2012. The Scottish Government has set a target to reduce CO2 emissions from energy used in its buildings by at least 30% by 2020, with an interim target of reducing CO2 emissions by 12.6% by March 2011.
I know that Paul Wheelhouse wants to come in, but first I point out that, as members will have seen from the committee papers, our next meeting will not be until 27 March. If the group’s application was put on hold, it would therefore be a month before we could discuss it again.
