Strengthening committees' effectiveness - Better management of peaks and troughs

Net Zero, Energy and Transport Committee report on the Climate Change (Scotland) Act 2009 (Scottish Carbon Budgets) Amendment Regulations 2025 - Global emissions reduction
The main aim of the agreement is to hold “the increase in the global average temperature to well below 2°C above pre-industrial levels” and to pursue efforts “to limit the temperature increase to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels.”
