I hope that you do not mind my raising that, but, as a Glasgow MSP who represents Maryhill and Springburn, I would be concerned if Glasgow lost three independent colleges.
It might come as a shock to Graham Simpson that councillors and some MSPs from his party have been voting against cycle lanes being installed and, where they have been built, campaigning to get them removed.
I will highlight a couple of things that jumped out at me as I was going through the report that are completely reflective of my experience, as an MSP, of speaking to constituents about their issues with social care services.
However, the fact is that nowhere in Scottish society can we say that we really have fair representation of women. All of us in this chamber—MSPs of both sexes—have a responsibility to address that.
We are hugely grateful to Juliet Harris and all Together Scotland’s staff and directors for their efforts. I am very aware that many MSPs—past and present—have campaigned for children’s rights, needs and interests, and have moved us on in the journey to get here.
