It was only after the voices from the community, the island councillors and MSPs across the parties could no longer be ignored that a one-year deal was worked out.
I will come back to Jenny Stewart in a moment—both she and Mari Tunby want to contribute. I want to pick up some of the MSPs’ comments just to make sure we are getting everything out.

I hope that, in the months and years to come, there will be various opportunities to engage at different levels with MSPs, this committee and others, because I think that our relationship with this Parliament is important.
