Legislative Consent Memorandum: delegated powers relevant to Scotland in the Renters' Rights Bill
The power to appoint a day to bring Chapter 5 of Part 1 (regarding discrimination against renters with children or in receipt of benefits in Scotland) into force is conferred on the Scottish Ministers alone, by clause 142(4).

Stage 1 Report on the Social Security (Amendment) (Scotland) Bill - Application process
Several witnesses were very keen to see the Scottish Government use the powers under this part of the Bill to change the statutory footing of the Scottish Child Payment to widen the eligibility criteria - for example, to include those in receipt of carers benefits, children older than 16 years, or certain families with No Recourse to Public Funds.

The Future of Social Care and Support in Scotland - Revised inquiry
To discuss potential positive actions and explore possibilities of how social care and support can be reimagined we took oral evidence in three round-table sessions during October and November 2020 as follows:
6 October 2020 - three social care experts from academia, third sector and health and social care partnerships
17 November 2020 - six individuals in receipt of care or support or with caring responsibilities
24 November 2020 - three social care professionals involved in the delivery or commissioning of services.
