On 29 May 2015, the Cabinet Secretary for Health, Wellbeing and Sport visited Aberdeen to meet with GPs, local MSPs and NHS Grampian to hear directly from those involved about how best to support GPs to find new ways of working that address workload and staffing difficulties.
Through this process all councillors, MSPs and MPs received written communication from Divisional Commanders and other engagement, including one-to-one meetings, area-based focus groups and presentation to local scrutiny committees, has been undertaken.
We have not formally consulted on our proposed technical changes, but once the legislation is introduced into Parliament we will consider carefully views offered from the Justice Committee, other MSPs and stakeholders on the provision.

On 31 January 2012, Roseanna Cunningham MSP met with the Chairs of Aberdeen City, Dundee, East Ayrshire, East Renfrewshire, and Inverclyde to discuss the issues and challenges facing ADPs following the publication of drug prevalence figures.
The previous Minister for Housing & Communities, Alex Neil MSP also chaired a Working Party which brought forward an interim strategy designed to improve and sustain relationships between gypsies/travellers and the settled community in the north east of Scotland.
