As soon as a Public Bill (i.e. a Government, Committee or Member’s Bill) has completed Stage 1, amendments for consideration at Stage 2 may be lodged; and as soon as Stage 2 is completed, amendments for Stage 3 consideration may be lodged.
For instance, consequential provision may be required to make necessary changes to related legislation, or incidental or supplementary provision may be required to prescribe some additional procedure to fully implement the changes proposed by the Bill.

This engagement ran from 10 March to 2 May 2025. The Scottish Funding Council (SFC) have informed me that an Academic Partner event was held during May, and a series of meetings with local authorities and staff focus groups will be held over the summer.
