*S6M-09569 Tess White: Burnside Brewery Wins Best Brewed Product at North East Scotland Food and Drink Awards 2023—That the Parliament congratulates Laurencekirk-based small business, Burnside Brewery, which won the category of Best Brewed Product, and was a finalist in the category of Best New Product for a Small Business at the North East Scotland Food and Drink Awards on 8 June 2023; understands that Burnside Brewery is an award-winning, independent craft brewery, with the finest Scottish malt and mountain water; notes that the company has developed a range of craft and classic beers that are refreshing, subtle and unique; further notes that the product nominated for both awards was the first alcohol free drink in the company's range, called Right to Roam, which is an IPA at 0.5% ABV, and is brewed in small batches using a special yeast strain to be naturally alcohol free using the finest Scottish malts and mountain water; understands that all of Burnside Brewery’s beers are brewed and clarified with time and temperature, so there are no added substances used to filter them, which means that they are vegan friendly, and again congratulates Burnside Brewery on winning this prestigious award.
