Introduction
The Rural Affairs and Islands (RAI) Committee was the lead Committee for scrutiny of the Good Food Nation Bill, a framework bill introduced by the Scottish Government with the aim of creating a coordinated approach to Scotland’s food.

However, it should be emphasised that councils right across Scotland are now having to deal with the toughest set of budget decisions that they have ever had to make.
