The Minister for Green Skills, Circular Economy and Biodiversity published draft regulations on 23 January and consulted on those until 8 March 2024. The general public and businesses will be able to comment on the final version of the proposal and associated impact assessments during a further six-week consultation, which launches in April 2024.

The latest social enterprise action plan was published on 24 March this year and covers the period from 2021 to 2024. It has been highlighted in conversations with community groups that many of the available funding packages are project based instead of being intended for expanding or building on existing initiatives.
Ideally, we would do both at the same time, but that will not always be possible if we are going to make progress at pace.
