To ask the Scottish Government what measures it has taken to ensure that older people receive the £150 council tax rebate announced by the Cabinet Secretary for Finance and the Economy on 10 February 2022. Local authorities have discretion over whether they provide the £150 cost of living payment as a credit to the council tax accounts of eligible households or as a cash payment, with the overriding objective being that payments are made by the end of April 2022.
