The Government has made it clear that one of its aims is to tackle the cost of living crisis, but it will not be easy to tackle the cost of living crisis if people get above-inflation council tax rises.
It might be that they are homeless or have concealed need—they are living in their childhood bedroom even though they are in their 20s—or simply that the homes that they are living in are not fit for their current needs, depending on where they are in life.
It simply requires ministers to bring forward regulations that would require assistance to be offered to people living in park homes or similar properties in the same fashion as would be offered to someone living in a more permanent structure.
