Subordinate Legislation on Short-term lets considered by the Local Government, Housing and Planning Committee on 21 December 2021 - Licensing v registration

All existing hosts (a person operating a short-term let before 1 October 2022) must submit a licence application by 31 March 2023 and hold an appropriate licence by 1 July 2024. Any new host wishing to start short-term letting after 1 October 2022 must submit a licence application and cannot commence until the licence has been approved.
