I am not too sure why there is such a lack; perhaps people think that the salary is not large enough or that Gaelic-medium teaching is only a phase.There are other developments that we should mention, such as Gaelic youth and pre-school groups, and a lot is happening with Gaelic in primary schools in the Highlands and in other areas.
