Final provisions 5 18 Ancillary provision (1) The Scottish Ministers may by regulations make any incidental, supplementary, consequential, transitional, transitory or saving provision they consider appropriate for the purposes of, in connection with or for giving full effect to this Act or any provision made under it. 10 (2) Regulations under this section may— 1 (a) make different provision for different purposes, (b) modify any enactment (including this Act). SCoSS can expect to play a significant role in the first review of the Charter in 2024 and all subsequent reviews. 12. Almost all of the work SCoSS has done so far has related to the scrutiny of regulations, as there has been a very significant volume of regulations to be put in place in this initial stage of setting up the devolved social security system.
