The Minister for Community Safety and Legal Affairs, Paul Wheelhouse MSP, led a parliamentary debate on 29 September 2015, where an update was given on progress to implement the NPS Expert Review Group recommendations.
The Minister also moved motion S6M-20006:
That the Health, Social Care and Sport Committee recommends that the Hydrolysis (Scotland) (No. 2) Regulations 2026 [draft] be approved.
Sandesh Gulhane MSP contributed to the debate, stating that as long as there is a smooth process across the UK when introducing these regulations then he would have no objections.
