The Bill completed Stage 1 on 19 January 2021, Stage 2 on 11 February 2021, and was passed by the Parliament at Stage 3 on 16 March 2021. After the Bill was passed, UK Law Officers referred it to the Supreme Court on the grounds that some of its provisions were outside the legislative competence of the Scottish Parliament.

Economic inactivity and ill health in Scotland - NHS wait times
