To ask the Scottish Government what research is being carried out on the impact of the use of opioids and antidepressants. The Chief Medical Officer for Scotland has convened a Short Life Working Group to examine the prescribing landscape in Scotland, looking at five classes of prescribed drugs which have the potential to cause addiction and withdrawal symptoms.
