I think that they will get a bit of a rest when the Parliament goes into recess. I hope that they will make the most of that, because I fear that they will be every bit as busy in session 6.
I was pleased that the minister accepted my invitation to visit the Penpont community micro-hydro scheme in Dumfries and Galloway during recess. It is clear that such schemes are crucial in supporting our renewable energy output and providing green power at a local level.
It would also be useful to have an update on whether the Scottish Government will publish its response to the Scottish mental health law review before summer recess. Those are some recommendations that I would make on the petition.
