I know that there has been a pandemic for two years, and that is why some of the data might not be as up to date as we would like, but there is a projected total of 323 link workers by March 2022.

Thankfully, the new Labour Government continued those plans, and UK and Scottish Government officials worked together on the proposed reforms that the UK Government published in October 2024, alongside a consultation. In March this year, the UK Government published its response to the consultation, which showed broad support for the reforms from consultees, and the measures were included in the Planning and Infrastructure Bill, which was introduced to the House of Commons on 11 March.

Back in March, the United Kingdom Government announced a swimming pool fund to help under-pressure leisure facilities to meet rising costs, and there are Barnett consequentials from that.
