P ART 9 F INAL P ROVISIONS 35 22 Meaning of “2018 Act” In this Act, the “2018 Act” means the Social Security (Scotland) Act 2018. 51 Social Security (Amendment) (Scotland) Bill Part 9—Final Provisions 23 Ancillary provision (1) The Scottish Ministers may by regulations make any incidental, supplementary, consequential, transitional, transitory or saving provision they consider appropriate for the purposes of, in connection with or for giving full effect to this Act. 5 (2) Regulations under this section may— (a) make different provision for different purposes, (b) modify any enactment (including this Act). (3) Regulations under this section— (a) are subject to the affirmative procedure if they add to, replace or omit any part 10 of the text of an Act, but 1 (b) otherwise are subject to the negative procedure. 24 Regulation-making powers (1) The 2018 Act is modified as follows.
