*S5M-09929 Clare Haughey: Asda Foundation Funding for Healthy n Happy Community Development Trust That the Parliament congratulates the Healthy n Happy Community — Development Trust on receiving £26,647 in Asda Foundation funding; notes that the organisation works to tackle poverty through a wide range of different activities, with the overriding aim of making both Cambuslang and Rutherglen the healthiest and happiest places to live in Scotland; commends the group's dedicated workforce, which consists of more than 25 staff, 30 sessional workers and 110 volunteers; understands that the award will be used by the Trust to install kitchen facilities and create a social café seating area; applauds the continuing commitment of the Asda Foundation in supporting local communities; believes that, in 2017, it invested more than £370,000 in community projects and good causes throughout Scotland; thanks Healthy n Happy for the vital community work that it has done since being established in 2002, and looks forward to seeing the funding being put to good use.
