That was a local point that I was going to come to as a Highlands and Islands MSP. Obviously, large parts of the Highlands and Islands region are remote and rural, and there are large distances between quite small towns in some areas.

I have talked about that to the Delegated Powers and Law Reform Committee, where I think Monica Lennon asked a reasonable question about how that committee, with a very small number of MSPs, will scrutinise all the work. My answer to that, or part of it, was that that makes the case for interparliamentary co-operation.
